Li River and Longsheng Terrace Rice Fields, Guilin and Longsheng, Guangxi, 3 Days


Day 1: Beijing ---Guilin (L)

The transportation to Beijing airport.

Fly to Guilin. Meet at Guilin airport and transferred. Lunch at local restaurant.  

It is mystical city with its thousands of limestone outcroppings, Guilin has inspired generations of silk scroll painters  This afternoon you will enjoy a half day Guilin city includes the Reed Flute Caves in which visitors are dazzled by the spectacular stalactites, stalagmites and the mirror lake. Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin City. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city, and have a rest at hotel.


Day 2: Guilin (B/L)

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to today tour.

Spend the day aboard a scenic Li River Cruise through the mist-shrouded limestone mountains, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages. Disembark at Yangshuo, a unique & incredible laid back town in China Here you can experience the rural China you have come to expect. Enjoy your time relax in Yangshuo and then drive back to Guilin. (Travel Hint: The meal served on the Li River Cruise is not good enough and suggests you have a big breakfast and bring some food your own)Drive back to you hotel.


Day 3: Guilin / Longsheng / Guilin (B/L)

Today's excursion will bring you to Longji Rice Terrace. Longsheng Terrace Rice Fields The rice terraces of Guilin are an essential symbol of China and one of the most celebrated landscapes in the world. Why not experience this spectacular view in person? On this tour you will see the famous Dragon Backbone Rice Terraces, so called because the irrigated hillsides resemble the scaly back of a dragon. Here local farmers still labor according to traditional agricultural techniques and in tune with the rhythms of nature. You also can experience the local lifestyle of Yao and Miao ethnic minorities who live there. After your tour of this breathtaking area, you will be driven back to Guilin (2-hour drive).
