The Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Xian, Shaanxi, 2 Days


Day 1: Beijing Xian (L)
The transportation from China National Convention Center to the airport

Fly to Xian. The local tour guide will meet you at the airport. Drive to Xian city. 
Visit Shaanxi History Museum. Shaanxi is one of the birthplaces of the earliest Chinese civilization. Most of the earliest dynasties have settled their capital in Shaanxi. This museum shows the rich cultural legacy of this area and how the civilization developed.
Have lunch and then tour the Ancient City Wall. It was rebuilt at the beginning of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) based on the imperial city wall of Tang Dynasty (618-907). It was used for military defense in the past. 

Drive back to your Xian hotel, dinner by own.

Day 2:
Xian (B/L)

Pick up from your hotel around 9:00 AM.
Then visit one of the eight world wonders - The Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Visit Pit 1, Pit 2, Pit 3 and the exhibition hall of Bronze Chariots. The three pits cover an area of 20,000 square meters. The visit will be a lifetime memory for you.  Lunch at local restaurant. 

This afternoon we will visit the Great Mosque and Muslim Quarter instead. The construction and architectural style of the mosque is completely Chinese. Today it’s still in use by Muslims. Our last stop is the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Originally it was used to keep Buddhism Books brought by Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang from India. Now the pagoda is one of Xian’s symbols.
